Darren Sherry is a founding Director of Galetech Energy which has interested in numerous renewables related businesses including GES.
Darren in his role as non executive director provides valuable strategic and operational insight which helps guide the development of the business.
Herman Busschots has substantial experience in the European renewables industry and in particular a long vocation to the renewables industry in Ireland.
Herman began working on Irish wind energy projects in 1993. In his career to date he has developed over 600MW of Wind Energy projects, 55MW of solar projects & over 600MW of projects that have deployed conventional generation technologies.
Previous employment includes Zond UK (part of Zond Inc.) and more recently GE Wind Energy, where he has held a variety of senior positions including Head of Wind Turbine Sales for the UK & Ireland and European Wide Powergen Project Development.
Brendan is qualified as a solicitor and mediator. He advises on many of the divisions of the Group from property, securitisation, litigation, employment and commercial matters.
Brendan had worked in both large and medium sized law firms as a practising solicitor prior to joining the Group in 2015.

Donogh o Brien
Donogh spent almost twenty years working in the renewables industry.
He has extensive experience in engineering, project management and investment appraisal of wind energy projects. Previous employment includes ESB International where Donogh was responsible for the engineering and construction of a large number of wind projects on behalf of ESB Wind Developments and private clients.
Donogh holds a bachelor of electrical engineering from University College Cork and post graduate diplomas in project and financial management.
Patricia is a management accountant and manages all day to day accounting and financial compliance aspects of the business.
She has held general and systems accounting roles across a range of blue chip international accounting consultancy and service organisations prior to joining Galetech in 2016.
Aiden Watters joined Optinergy in 2012 with over 16 years experience of senior management with General Electric in business development, process engineering, and customer service. Under Aiden’s guidance since 2012 Optinergy has seen steady growth that has seen Optinergy establish itself as the leading ISP in the wind industry in the 32 counties of Ireland.
