The customer required a specialist engineering partner capable of handling a complete Vestas V39 nacelle assembly while simultaneously managing the removal and overhaul of major drivetrain components.
The project required sufficient storage capacity, specialist lifting capability, and coordinated refurbishment planning to ensure the turbine components could be restored and returned to service efficiently.

Solution
Optigear - Powered by Galetech Group removed the Vestas V39 gearbox, main shaft, and generator from the nacelle assembly for complete overhaul within the Optigear facility.
Following refurbishment and testing, the components will be reinstalled into the nacelle prior to transportation and delivery back to site, ensuring the customer receives a fully prepared and integrated assembly ready for deployment.
