March 2023
Visitors can experience newly installed bug hotels, which Bracklyn Wind Farm has donated to the Tidy Towns in Delvin.
The bug hotels, were unveiled to the public in March 2023 and are located in the Delvin village picnic area, which is close to the Livestock Mart.
The creepy crawly hotels will provide cosy shelter for insects big and small and will be there to promote pollination and elevate ecosystem diversity all year long.
Bracklyn Bug Hotels were presented as part of the Galetech sponsorship & community grants programme. This programme aims to empower and involve the local communities we work in. It is to enrich the quality of life and aid āgreen transitionā in communities.
Thank you to the Delvin Festival Committee and Delvin Tidy Towns for reaching out as part of this local support initiative.
For further information please visit www.bracklynwindfarm.ie or contact our Community Liaison, Deirdre Keegan on 087 1163 978.
The Delvin Parade used a ārenewable green themeā for the festival this year. Fitting in with the theme of St. Patrick's Day, Bracklyn Wind Farm worked with the vendors and the committee to promote sustainability throughout the festival and the community.
