What is Solar Energy?

Solar energy is quite simply the world’s fastest-growing energy source.

Even conservative estimates forecast that solar energy will become Europe’s dominant energy source by 2050.

Solar energy produces 96% fewer carbon emissions than coal, and 93% less GHG emissions than gas. In solar projects, more jobs are created during the construction phase in comparison to any other energy industry. Solar growth can feasibly take on all workers from former coal-dependent employment, ensuring no communities are left behind in the energy transition.
