Galetech Energy visits Offaly Civic Offices

On 18th October this year, We joined Offaly 2020 vision members for a presentation on the workings of the Renewable Energy Support Scheme (RESS)

This presentation represented a significant stride towards understanding how relationships can be fostered between us and most importantly to empower local initiatives.

The support scheme is an instrumental part of the Cush wind farm project proposed for the local area.

The presentation, held in the spirit of collaboration and shared vision, delved into the transformative power of the scheme, the framework, its role, who it can impact among other items, ultimately fostering a greener and more sustainable energy landscape.

Central to the conversation was enlightening the tangible benefits and opportunities that arise when funds are strategically used.

It is a priority to engage in discussion at this early stage to exchange ideas and aspirations for the fund and to start building community information for the area to keep all local stakeholders involved & up to date on the fund.

We showcased some local sponsorships including the Cush wind farm Illuminations sponsorship and the Relay Around the Parishes Fundraiser and informed it is this type of sponsorship we would like to continue.

If you have any questions about this fund or any of the Galetech Community funds please reach out on deirdre@galetechenergy.com  or call 087 1163978
