Solution Optigear sourced the drivetrain in Germany after turbine decommissioning. Client Auctus Capacity Confidential Location Co. Cavan Architect Design & Build - Galetech Contracts Ltd. Challenge Auctus required additional warehouse capacity to support continued growth in their animal nutrition and feedstuffs operations in Cavan. Limited existing storage space and increasing operational demands meant that a purpose-built facility was needed to improve workflow, accommodate increased stock volumes, and ensure efficient day-to-day logistics. The new development also needed to integrate with the existing DPD building while maintaining safe vehicle access, clear circulation routes, and compliant pedestrian movement across the site. In addition, the facility had to include staff support areas without compromising the available storage footprint. Solution Galetech Contracts delivered a new purpose-built warehouse facility with a total floor area of 1,095.2 m², including approximately 900.5 m² of open storage space. The layout was carefully designed to maximise operational efficiency while providing dedicated loading areas and supporting infrastructure. The building incorporates a practical staff support area including reception, offices, meeting room, cleanroom, canteen, storage, and accessible welfare facilities. Clear access routes, designated parking, and compliant pedestrian pathways were implemented to improve site functionality and safety. RC concrete wall and roof cladding were selected to provide a durable, low-maintenance finish while complementing the adjoining premises and delivering a clean, modern industrial appearance. Outcome The completed warehouse facility significantly increases storage capacity and enhances operational efficiency for Auctus. The improved layout supports streamlined logistics, safer site movement, and better integration with existing infrastructure. By combining substantial storage space with modern staff facilities, the development provides a future-ready solution that supports business growth and day-to-day productivity.
